ABOUT
The Owner
Submerged in the Western Mountains of Maine, the owner, John Dodson crafts furniture at his home in Coplin. Inspired by his great grandfather's furniture, woodworking not only became an obsession but a full encompassment of his passions for the outdoors, the arts and working with his hands. Outside of the shop he enjoys running, hiking, skiing, biking and playing guitar. Self-taught through books, internet resources and nearly a decade of experience.

Our mission is to extend our passion of woodworking to customers by creating enduring value through craftsmanship of quality, functional and customizable furniture.
Legacy: In our family we still have several pieces of furniture my great grandfather Walfred handcrafted. Our goal is to construct furniture that will be passed down through the generations creating traditions and memories. We truly want to give trees a second life!
Craftsmanship: Quality is our priority, achieved by use of only the best hardware and wood selection. We use a blend of modern and traditional tools to construct our furniture. Hence our slogan “Modern Techniques with Traditional Value”.
Education: We foster a learning environment within our company that ranges from the cellular level of trees, construction techniques, design and everything in between. It is our hope to extend this knowledge to our customers enhancing their admiration for the furniture inside their homes.

Services
We offer custom furniture and cabinet designs with digital 3-D modeling, construction, delivery and installation of our products. We strive to build relationships with customers that will last a lifetime.
Design
We use the 3D modeling software Sketch Up to create custom designs based on dimensions and aesthetic preferences. This enables us to ensure expectations are met before the construction process.
Furniture Construction
We use a blend of modern and traditional techniques to construct our furniture. This allows us to offer options tailored to style, function and budget.
Delivery & Installations
We can install any product that we construct, including cabinets and pieces that require assembly upon delivery. Within a reasonable range we will deliver products to customers for no cost.
